Sunny Isles Development Lands a Remarkable
24 Awards
from the Builders Association of South Florida
Sunny Isles Beach, FL (April 8, 2003) – The
Builders Association of South Florida awarded
Trump Grande Ocean Resort & Residences
twenty-four "Best Awards,”  including
the coveted Best Overall Planned Community,
during the annual award ceremony, Saturday
evening at the Westin Diplomat Hotel, Hollywood,
FL.
“Our highest priority was to create an urban
environment every bit as spectacular as the
finished product,” said Trump Grande co-developer
Gil Dezer. “We wanted buyers to know from
the outset that the development would be different
than the typical condominium in South Florida.
Winning these awards indicates that the prestigious
Builders Association judges have acknowledged
that our property is unparalleled in this
market.”
Three buildings comprise the Trump Grand Ocean
Resort & Residences. The first, the Trump
International Sonesta Beach Resort, is a luxury
condominium hotel opening April 2003. The
278-unit, 55-story Trump Palace is the second,
while the third building, another 55-story
condominium, the Trump Royale, is expected
to open in 2006. When completed, the Palace
and the Royale will be among Miami’s tallest
oceanfront towers.
Gil Dezer noted that since the project’s sales
center opened in May of 1999, 91% of the project
has been sold, including a $5.5 million penthouse.
Trump Palace residences range in size from
1,197 square-feet to more than 6,300 square-feet,
with prices ranging from the $600s to $7 million.
Penthouse units sell for approximately $4.2
million up to $7 million.
