$700 Million Project Re-Defines
Luxury Living in Sunny Isles
SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FL (October 2004) –Trump
Dezer Development has announced the topping off
of Trump Palace and the groundbreaking of Trump
Royale in Sunny Isles Beach. The two, luxury residential
towers are part of the $700 million Trump Grande
Ocean Resort and Residences, which also includes
a 372-unit condo hotel, Trump International Sonesta
Beach Resort, which opened amidst great fanfare
last year.
Trump Palace, a 278-unit, 55-story residential
condominium, is scheduled for completion in 2005
and is topped off. Residences range from 1,197 to
6,300 square feet of total living space and will
feature ten-foot ceiling heights - a Trump standard.
Trump Palace prices range from $500,000 to $5 million.
Trump Royale, a 391-unit, 55-story residential
condominium, is scheduled for completion in 2007
and will break ground this month. Residences will
range from 914 to 11,000 square feet of total living
space. Trump Royale prices range from $500,000 to
$25 million for select penthouses.
Spanning eleven acres, the three building project
represents Donald Trump’s first foray into the South
Florida residential real estate market. Father and
son duo, Michael and Gil Dezer, partnered with the
real estate mogul three years ago and at $700 million,
Trump Grande is one of the largest real estate deals
ever realized in the state of Florida.
The Dezers own more than 45 acres of prime oceanfront
property in Sunny Isles Beach, which they began
accumulating in 1995. They are the largest owners
of oceanfront property in the area, and arguably
one of the largest in the state. At present, 25
of the 45 acres under their control are either built
or in the planning stages.
Trump Towers is Gil Dezer's latest addition to
an already impressive portfolio. On this deal, the
Dezers have teamed up with not only Trump, but with
Jorge Perez’ Related Group to build three high rises
at 45-stories each on 158th and Collins Avenue in
Sunny Isles Beach. The project, in its planning
stages, will have between 830-930 units and prices
will range from $650,000 to $4 million.
In addition to their Miami Beach properties, the
Dezers' New York holdings encompass more than twenty
properties including the Simon Dezer building on
5th Avenue, the Chelsea Antiques building, the Chelsea
Design Center and the Chelsea Arts Forum.
